After cleaning the egr on a 1.9 pd I suggest that any spray solution will clean less than 5% of the s t out. Mine wasn't particularly bad but still required 30 mins with a screw driver, carb EGR exchange took 15mins to swap out on my old mk5 Astra!!!! i soaked my EGR value, and I mean soak the EGR value on the first clean, then went to town with a pipe cleaner/toothbrush.
