The 4 player co op is just a series of uninteresting mini games that can't be played locally to my knowledge. And they removed the co op from the free roam story mode, too. So no, it won't be even close to as fun as Left 4 Dead 2. #1. Yes, except the tutorial intro which requires you to reach the garage (doable very quickly). When you reach it, co-op is unlocked. Because after days of trying for hours on end we eventually gave up and just played Dead Rising 2 co-op on 360 with no issues, so my xbox live gold code didn't go to waste. Cheers, Off the Record is probably my favorite Dead Rising simply because of those QoL updates. Not only that, there’s actually quite a lot of new content that keeps the game fresh from the 2nd game. New zones, new weapons, story is recreated and isn’t just a copy of the 2nd game, new bosses AND tweaks to existing bosses, etc. 2. When I first saw that Dead Rising 2 has Co-op (that was one and half a year ago), I immediately thought we need to play with it via LAN. Sadly when the game was released last year, it didn't have it.
